Adobe Air (apparently) installed but not found

Hi there

 

I've been running around in circles for the last 2 days trying to sort this out, can somebody plz help me?

 

I installed the latest version of Adobe Air on my Windows7 64-bit, but when I try to play the file it says Adobe Air cannot be found?

 

I then tried to troubleshoot the problem on google, which prompted me to check for the file through my C Drive/username/program files etc...and i still couldnt locate there either.

 

I then contacted microsoft live support which promted me to talk to someone in live chat Adobe, which couldnt help me because Adobe Air is a free software which lead me to forums.

 

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but still no lock of it working.

Can somebody please, please tell me how to fix this?

I will pay you if need be, whether its rating/reviews, bitcoins, or a ride to the airport...take your pick, just help me solve this.

System Requirements for Adobe Air 23 makes no mention of Windows XP.

I have Windows XP Home Edition 32-bit and wish to know if I can update to Adobe Air 23 without any problems?

Does anyone know how to install (.air) file, using powershell script? I have tried this script, but it doesn't work:

Mac OS X 10.13 (High Sierra) supported yet?

Hello,

 

The current version of the runtime (27.0.0.128) won't install on my OS X 10.13 laptop. Is this a known limitation?

 

Apparently I'm the only person still running the Pandora desktop client (which runs on AIR) on OS X.

Randomly corrupted installers

We are developing a software suite called Omnitapps in Adobe AIR (sdk 4.5.1 build as 2.6) in FDT 4.5

 

Since a while now our installers we package with ant seem to get corrupted randomly, some times it works some times it doesnt.

 

It seems to get worse depending on how much data is included in the package, we have also noticed it usually breaks on our video files we included:

Our installer atm is about 570 mb, and we wonder if there is a cap on the amount of data included in a package, or incompatibility with certain types of files because of the compression method?

 

If we remove alot of content from the package, including the videos it seems to be alot more stable and gets corrupted a lot less frequently.

Cannot install Native Application silently

I have an existing Native Application installed that I'm trying to update silently, i.e. without being prompted if I want to replace the application. In command prompt on Windows 7 x64 I have tried the following:

 

C:\NativeAppUpdate.exe -silent

 

The command fails with the following message:

failed due to bad configuration

 

At this point I Googled the error and came across a post on this forum of something experiencing a similar issue. Adobe suggested using the ARH tool to get a better understanding of what the error was. So I tried the ARH tool as follows:

 

arh -installAppSilent NativeAppUpdate.exe

 

Unfortunately that failed too with the following message:

Failed (consult log)

 

So I looked at the log and found the following entries:

It says it's not an AIR file, which is correct. However if I run the update file without the silent argument, it asks me if I want to replace the application and installs fine. So why does it fail when the silent argument is used and is there any other way around this?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

After installing Adobe AIR 3.7 on a new computer with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and try to use applications that need this program, I get a warning window with this message: This application requires a version of Adobe AIR which can not be found. Download the latest version of runtime at http:// .......

When trying to uninstall it stops me with the same message described above. I managed to uninstall it by using a specific software to uninstallations, which it does, but to re-install the same thing happens. Also try it with AIR 2.6. Can anyone help me with this problem?

dmg. file not opening on mac0s Sierra macbook air 2012

i resecntly reset my computer and and not re loading all programs that i need and Air is one. However i have downloaded the dmg file for mac and it will not open on the computer. I have tried many ways of trying to open the dmg file but it does not open. any advice.

Adobe Air/Do-Crafts Digital designer download problem

Please can someone help?

 

I am trying to help my friend download Adobe air on her Windows laptop the problem is that she is trying to download a program called do-crafts digital designer which requires Adobe Air to installed first.

 

We keep receiving the following message:

 

Sorry, an Error has occurred.

The application could not be installed because the installation file is damaged.

Try obtaining a new installation file from the application author.

 

Where/who can we obtain this from please?

 

The problem is she has in the past been able to use the digital designer but has now changed her laptop. I have this program installed on my MacBook also an old Windows laptop and they run fine. This program is required for our hobby 'Cardmaking'.

I would like to install an air application on many systems (Mac OS X) using remote install. Is there a way to achieve this?

 

Is there a pure command line utility to install Adobe AIR applications (.air files) in Mac OS X?

Installing AIR on Ubuntu 16

Almost have install working on Ubuntu following this install guide

However near the end of the install I get

 

Now running AdobeAir installer

/tmp/air.QYAFGU/setup: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Removing installer file and unlinking symbolic files

So where do I get the libgtk-x11-2.0 library? I tried simply doing a
sudo apt install libgtk-x11-2.0

but get couldn't find package error

Здравствуйте, проблема с Adobe Air. Когда скачала AdobeAIRInstaller и запустила установку, то было написано, что установка прошла успешно и в списке установленных программ появился Adobe Air. Но приложение, которое требовало наличие Adobe Air при запуске написало:"Для работы данного приложения требуется версия Adobe Air, которую не удается найти. Загрузите последнюю версию среды выполнения с сайта http://www.adobe.com/go/getair_ruили обратитесь к автору приложения за обновленной версией". Я решила удалить установленное Adobe Air и переустановить его. Но при удалении через "Панель управления-Программы-Удаление программ" в Windows7 Professional вновь появляется окно с надписью:"Для работы данного приложения требуется версия Adobe Air, которую не удается найти. Загрузите последнюю версию среды выполнения с сайта http://www.adobe.com/go/getair_ruили обратитесь к автору приложения за обновленной версией". И Adobe Air не удаляется таким способом. Похоже, что Adobe Air устанавливается изначально не корректно. Помогите это исправить и установить Adobe Air.

Error Message During Install

I receive this error message when i try to install Adobe Air and an Air Application. What does this mean? How do i fix it?

 

There has been an error running

C:\PROGRA~2\COMMMON~1\Version\1.0\ADOBEA~1.EXE

C:\PROGRA~2\NATION~1\tempAir\CNGViewer.air:Program Ended with an error exit code

The application will exit now.

Adobe Air will not update or uninstall

So after a recent windows security update adobe air stopped working. I tried to download the software to force an update and it said that i needed a version of adobe air that was not found to install it. I then tried to uninstall it to start fresh and i got the exact same message. I am running Windows 7 and any and all help would be appreciated.

adobe air v30.0.0107 says invalid win32 application windows XP.

I have adobe air v29.0.0112 installed on windows xp sp3 with patches; however, the latest version v30.0.0107 when downloaded and installed states that it isn't a valid win32 application.  Need a fix so Avast or the user doing the install manually will work.

Adobe Air updated, now my Rosetta Stone won't work

I use Rosetta Stone and recently it prompted me to upgrade Adobe Air.  I upgraded my version and now Rosetta Stone no longer works.  Tried uninstalling and reinstalling Air a few times, nothing works.  I'm on Windows Vista.  Worked fine before the update.  Is this a problem others have had?  Can you help?

Error while trying to download Amazon Music Importer

I am trying to upload my music to the Amazon Music Library and when I try to download the Music Importer, I get the following message: "The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem.  The certificate does not match the installed application certificate, does not support application upgrades, or is invalid.  Please contact the application author." I have rebooted my computer, uninstalled Adobe Air and reinstalled it. I still get the same error message. I am running Windows 7.

I am getting this error message even though nothing else is being installed. My Task Manager shows nothing else is going on, and I have closed anything else running on the computer. Any ideas on how to help resolve?
